MUAY THAI

Kickboxing

Muay Thai is a combat martial art from Thailand that uses stand up striking along with various clinching techniques. This physical and mental discipline is known as 'the art of 8 weapons', because it is characterised by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins and feet, thus using eight points of contact. Students learn minor and major techniques as they progress through levels. Almost all techniques use the entire body movement, rotating the hip with each kick, punch, elbow and block.
