Our Classes
2025 REGULAR WEEKLY CLASSES (MEMBERS) @ DPA HQ, EPPING
- Eskrima training sessions (General classes/all ranks & beginners welcome): 7:00pm Mondays & Wednesdays
- Advanced Eskrima (senior ranks) : 8.00pm Mondays & Wednesdays
- Open Mat training, Saturdays 11am-1pm
- WEKAF/Stick Fighting training sessions: 6:00pm Mondays (juniors) & 7:00pm Thursdays for teens and adults
- Black Belt and Instructor training sessions
Doce Pares Australia hosts regular weekend training seminars in Eskrima-Kali-Arnis (Doce Pares Multi-Style System), open to all martial artists with an interest in Filipino Martial Arts, weapons systems and hand-to-hand combat.

The Doce Pares Multi-Style system of Eskrima is composed of seven styles or sub-disciplines:
- SOLO OLISI (Single Stick)
- DOBLE OLISI (Double Stick)
- BARAW (Knife)
- Eskrido (Locks, throws and takedowns with olisi)
- ESPADA Y DAGA (Sword and Dagger)
- MANO-MANO (Empty Hands)
- DUMOG (Grappling)
- TAPI-TAPI (Alive hand, Sticky Hands-Old Style)
- Sumbag-pated (punch and kick)
- All of the 12 Forms (Sayaw)
Train Filipino Martial Arts Eskrima in Melbourne and Regional VIC with Eskrima and Stick Fighting classes in Epping VIC, Frankston VIC, Horsham VIC, Shepparton VIC, Albury VIC, Townsville QLD and Christchurch NZ.

Doce Pares Australia run local, regional eskrima seminars throughout Australia, as well as an annual National Training Camp at our Epping VIC Training Centre.

Doce Pares Australia also run regular weekly classes in Epping VIC, on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Sat 6 September 2025: WEKAF Local Tournament
WEKAF Australia, the national representative organisation for Filipino Martial Arts competition sports in Australia (knife point, padded point, live stick-single & double and bangkaw categories), is hosting a local tournament at All Active Martial Arts in Epping VIC at 12pm, Saturday 6th September 2025.
The 6 September local tournament will cover Bangkaw and Knife Point events.
The event is open to all with an interest in martial arts and weapons sparring, and will be a good run-through of these events for anyone interested in competing in the VIC State Tournament this November.

26 Sept - 3 Oct 2025: Cebu Group Training Trip
We're heading back to the home of Doce Pares in September for our group training trip to Cebu, Philippines.
As with previous years, we'll have the opportunity to train at Doce Pares HQ in Cebu City, take in the welcoming Filipino Culture, food and historical attractions. We'll visit some unforgettable locations and take part in some of the adventure experiences available in this unique part of the world!
