Welcome to 2019 at AAMA

AAMA are back on board for 2019! We were excited to have so many students return to training last week with renewed enthusiasm, despite the hot weather! 

All of our classes have now resumed and we welcome all our members back to their regular training sessions! We also take the opportunity to welcome new members to come in and say hi, check out our classes or join us for a trial session!

AAMA provide specialised training in a range of martial arts systems, for all ages and fitness levels, and offer classes in Kids Karate, Zen Do Kai Freestyle Karate, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Filipino Martial Arts-Eskrima, Krav Maga and Systema-Russian Martial Arts.

We encourage new members to participate in a trial class – or try out one of our introductory programs to start out :

Kids and Intermediates

(5-9yrs) - includes free Karate Uniform  
(First course for 2019 starts Monday 4th February at 5pm). 
Kids Karate (5-9yrs) 10-session Kickstart package - includes free Karate Uniform  
Zen Do Kai Freestyle Karate (10-14yrs) 10-session Kickstart package - includes a free Karate Gi valued at $75  
Startup Training Promotions
Muay Thai Kickboxing 4-week training pass includes a free pair of 16oz boxing gloves (while stocks last) - $120
Krav Maga 4-week training pass includes a free Krav Maga training shirt - $120
Filipino Martial Arts - Eskrima 4-week training pass includes a free pair of Eskrima sticks - $125

      As we approach the end of 2025, there's still lots going on at AAMA! Please take note of the following grading and end-of-year schedule, and mark these dates in your calendar! Sat 13th December 2025 : Kids Karate & Zen Do Kai Grading End-of-Year Grading is an important all-day event at AAMA, and as such there will be no other classes running on this day. Please note all current Black Belts will be required from 10:00am - 3:00pm (Lunch will be provided for Black Belt Grading Assistants) GRADING DAY SCHEDULE - KIDS KARATE & ZEN DO KAI - SAT 13 DEC 2025 10:00am - Current Junior & Intermediate Black Belts Grading to Intermediate 1st Degree 11:00am - Current White Belts Grading to Yellow, Yellow Belts Grading to Orange and Orange Belts Grading to Blue 12:30pm - Current Blue Belts Grading to Green, and Green Belts Grading to Brown 1:30pm - Current Brown Belts Grading to Junior or Intermediate Black Belt 2:30pm - Black Belt Presentation & Ceremony Sun 14th December 2025, 1pm-4pm : AAMA End of Year Awards and BBQ.
